TASTING NOTES

West Cape Howe Styx Gully is a Chardonnay wine made in the modern Australian style. The wine shows a bright and attractive pale straw colour. It exudes fresh stone fruit aromas of peaches and nectarines with light rockmelon characters. The wine has a lovely and silky palate dominated by fresh stone fruit flavours. Its excellent acidity contributes to the length of flavour and provides a nice zing on the finish. The wine possesses a cellaring potential of 6 years. This Mount Barker Chardonnay pairs well with mushrooms, roast chicken, and pork dishes.
