Region & Vintage Conditions

Sourced from the renowned Barossa Valley, this Shiraz reflects one of Australia's most celebrated red wine regions. The 2025 vintage delivered exceptional quality across the region, with Shiraz emerging as a standout performer. Warm growing conditions encouraged excellent fruit concentration while maintaining freshness and balance, producing wines with depth, flavour and structure.

Winemaking Techniques

Fruit was handpicked and carefully sorted before being transferred to open fermenters. Wild yeast fermentation and gentle plunging encouraged colour, flavour and texture development while preserving varietal purity. Following fermentation, the wine was matured in stainless steel and bottled with minimal additions. In keeping with the Wild Folk philosophy, it is preservative-free, vegan-friendly, unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red with vibrant purple hues.

Aroma: Lifted aromas of blackberry, blueberry and plum layered with floral notes and warm spice.

Palate: Rich and fruit-driven with flavours of dark berries, black plum and subtle pepper spice. The palate is generous and velvety, supported by polished tannins and balanced acidity.

Finish: Long and smooth with lingering dark fruit, spice and savoury complexity.
