Region & Vintage Conditions

Sourced from the cool-climate Yarra Valley, this Pinot Noir reflects one of Australia's most celebrated regions for the variety. The region's mild growing conditions and long ripening period help develop bright fruit flavours, freshness and elegance. The 2025 vintage delivered vibrant fruit character while retaining the natural acidity and finesse that Pinot Noir lovers seek.

Winemaking Techniques

Fruit was handpicked and carefully sorted before fermentation in open fermenters. Wild yeast fermentation and gentle plunging encouraged the development of flavour and texture while preserving varietal character. Following fermentation, the wine was matured in stainless steel and bottled young with minimal additions. In keeping with the Wild Folk philosophy, the wine is unfined, unfiltered and made without added preservatives.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright ruby red with youthful crimson hues.

Aroma: Fragrant aromas of red cherry, cranberry and plum with delicate floral notes and subtle earthy undertones.

Palate: Fresh and vibrant with juicy cherry and cranberry flavours complemented by a gentle savoury edge. Light to medium-bodied with a silky texture, bright acidity and exceptional drinkability.

Finish: Clean and refreshing, finishing with lingering red fruit and soft savoury notes.
