Blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry are layered with violet, spice and subtle olive notes. The palate is finely structured, with vibrant acidity, polished tannins and a persistent finish that carries both fruit and savoury detail.

Regional Character

The fruit comes from the Bekkers Clarendon Vineyard in the elevated Clarendon area of McLaren Vale. The cooler conditions of this higher-altitude site help preserve acidity and aromatic detail while allowing the Syrah to develop concentration and depth.

Winemaking Techniques

The fruit is carefully handled to retain its natural aromatic and fruit character. Fermentation and maturation are managed to build texture and structure while allowing the vineyard expression to remain prominent. Oak contributes subtle spice and savoury complexity rather than dominating the wine.
