Wirra Wirra Woodhenge Shiraz is a richly flavoured McLaren Vale red built around ripe dark fruit, spice and savoury complexity. Blackberry, plum and dark cherry form the core of the wine, with notes of chocolate, liquorice and spice adding depth. The palate is generous and concentrated, supported by fine tannins and balanced acidity that carry the fruit through a long finish.

Regional Character

The Shiraz comes from McLaren Vale, a region recognised for its warm Mediterranean climate and maritime influence. These conditions favour Shiraz with ripe fruit concentration, while the area's varied soils and cooler evening temperatures help retain freshness and structure.

Winemaking Techniques
