Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache Blanc is a distinctive white wine from a small planting of Grenache Blanc nestled among Yalumba's old-vine Grenache Noir blocks. The wine is intensely aromatic, combining jasmine, white nectarine, fresh pear, white peach and peach iced tea with subtle herbal and citrus notes. The palate is textured and fresh, showing lychee, nectarine and pear alongside bright acidity and fine mineral character.

Regional Character

The Grenache Blanc comes from a single hectare of vines in Vine Vale, in the Barossa Valley. The vineyard's location among old Grenache plantings gives this rare Australian expression a distinct sense of place, while the warm, dry Barossa conditions support ripe stone-fruit and floral flavours.

Winemaking Techniques

The grapes are handpicked and pressed to tank. Cool fermentation is used to preserve the delicate fruit and floral aromas, while wild yeast fermentation contributes texture and complexity to the palate.
