Yangarra Estate is popular for being one of the few biodynamic wine farms across Australia. Situated in the reputed McLaren vale wine region of South Australia, Yangarra follows the philosophy of creating wines solely from their single vineyard estate. Their winemaking team is skilled at creating lavish and elegant wines of surprising quality and flavour.

TASTING NOTES

Grenache grapes used to produce this wine were carefully handpicked and wild yeast fermented. Matured in 6 month old French oak barriques for about 12 months, the wine developed juicy fruit characters. Finally, the wine juice was filtered without fining. The result is a dark violet hued Grenache wine tasting absolutely marvellous. The bouquet is a fusion of spiced dark fruits and floral fragrances. The fine, intense and strong palate structure boasts of rich dark fruit flavours integrated with well balanced acidity and tight, juicy tannins. Tapas, fish, veal and Mediterranean dishes taste splendid with the scrumptious Yangarra Estate High Sands Grenache.
