Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2023 vintage in McLaren Vale was shaped by mild weather and an extended ripening period, allowing Grenache to develop exceptional flavour concentration while retaining freshness and balance. The estate’s sandy soils contributed to the wine’s aromatic lift and fine tannin structure.

Winemaking Process
Hand-picked grapes from 1946 bush vines were carefully sorted and fermented with a portion of whole bunches to enhance perfume and texture. Gentle extraction preserved purity, while maturation in large old French oak foudres highlighted the fruit and vineyard character without overt oak influence.

Tasting Notes
