Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2022 vintage in McLaren Vale was characterised by mild weather and an extended ripening season. These conditions produced Shiraz of excellent flavour concentration, vibrant aromatics, and finely structured tannins, capturing both richness and freshness.

Winemaking Process
Hand-harvested Shiraz was fermented with wild yeasts, with a portion of whole bunches included to build complexity and lift. Gentle plunging preserved purity of fruit, and maturation took place in large French oak foudres and older barrels, ensuring subtle oak influence and a focus on vineyard expression.

Tasting Notes
Deep purple-red in colour. Aromas of blackberry, plum, and blueberry are interwoven with notes of violets, black pepper, and spice. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, offering rich dark fruits, savoury layers, and fine, silky tannins, leading to a long, balanced finish.
