WINERY INFORMATION
Located along the picturesque coasts of Marlborough, Yealands Estate is a multi-award winning winery that was established in 2008 by Peter Yealand. Since inception, the aim of the brand is to craft beautiful wines in partnership with nature. Along with the largest solar panel array, the brand has undertaken various other initiatives in order to manage the winery and vineyards in a sustainable manner.
TASTING NOTES
This cold-fermented wine is a blend of 51% Pinot Gris, 31% Riesling and 18% Gewürztraminer. Flaunting a clear appearance, this vegan-friendly wine will please your nose with ripe, exotic fruit and white pear aromas. Matching flavours on the impressively-textured palate are complemented by citrus along with subtle spice and ginger nuances. The fruit explosion is wonderfully balanced by the drink’s acidity making way for a refreshing citrus finish. It matches exceptionally with Asian cuisine, chicken, seafood, and pork dishes.
