Tarrawarra Estate Wines

TarraWarra Estate was founded by Marc Besen and his wife, Eva, in 1983 when they planted the first 10 acres of vines. This 400-hectare vineyard sits on the prime Yarra Valley farmland, defined by heritage and a deep sense of place. The brand is best known for its exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, alongside single-block heritage varietals and estate blends. These TarraWarra wines express a unique terroir of the site which comprises 28 individual blocks carefully planted with selected clones. Grapes for all the TarraWarra Estate wines are grown, handpicked, vinified, and then aged on the estate only under the supervision of winemaker Clare Halloran.
