Introducing the Paper Lantern brand, your latest exclusive Just Wine wine.

Made by the team at Project Wine in South Australia, Paper Lantern is a great example of the two truisms of wine: one, that great wines are first made in the vineyard, and two, that one plus one can often equal three.

Established in 2001, Project Wine is housed in the winery formerly known as Langhorne Creek Winery, and is now a state-of-the-art grape processing, winemaking and storage facility. The winery is located close to some of South Australia’s best known wine regions, including Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, and less than two hours from the Limestone Coast and Barossa Valley.

This proximity to some of the best regions in Australia allows the wine making team, led by Senior Winemaker Peter Pollard, to source top quality fruit from many different regions and vineyards, expertly blending parcels to create a whole that is much greater than a sum of its parts. That’s the one plus one equals three.

But as gifted as the winemaking team at Project Wine are, they realise it all starts in the vineyard, which is why they use their extensive contacts around the country to source the very best fruit each vintage, and then use their skills, experience and attention to detail to get the very best from every grape, resulting in quality wines that speak to their terroir.

Great grapes and quality winemaking, resulting in a fantastic wine in the glass. That’s what top class winemaking is all about – and that’s what you get with Paper Lantern, exclusive to Just Wines. Get set to light up your evening tipple!
