That wine drinking temperature shall be optimum for having the best experience of your cherished wine is something you might have known all these years but would not have measured it with a sensor. The fact that temperature of wine can actually make a big difference to your drinking experience has been brought forth with the launch of a sensor which indicates whether wine is at an optimum temperature for drinking or not.

The Taylors wine bottles would be having this temperature sensor on their label which can be swiped to know whether the current temperature would be optimal or not for drinking purposes. On swiping, the colour of the sensor changes. This colour can be matched with wine temperature reference chart (given below) to check for right drinking temperature for that wine varietal.

The winery launched a competition and invited wine lovers to feel the difference which right temperature can make to the drinking experience. They asked invitees to drink wines at room temperature and after refrigeration (when optimum drinking temperature is reached) to feel the difference.

Taylors have also started providing their sticker-sensors to wine consumers which can be affixed on wine bottles to check for optimal levels of temperature before drinking wines.
