Greystone Wines

The first vines planted by the Greystone estate were grown alongside the Waipara River, where the soil was nutrient-rich, the climate was cool and the vines received ample water for irrigation. In the year 2004, they decided to move their vineyard to the clayey and limestone-rich soils of Omihi. Four years later in 2008, Greystone Wines produced their very first wine. As time progressed, Greystone achieved immense success and appreciation and went on to become one of the most recognized and respected wineries in New Zealand. The focus of the winemaking team is on capturing the elements and essence of the region into their magnificent drinks.
