Tatachilla Wines

When Tatachilla was established in 1903 in the fledgling region of McLaren Vale it was the closest winery and vineyard to the ocean. It was considered by many at the time to be too close to the ocean, but after many successful vintages this myth was dispelled and Tatachilla quickly became one of the most significant in the region. Fast forward over 110 years and the heart of Tatachilla now resides in one of the outer edges of McLaren Vale. The Clarendon vineyard is located in the hills to the north of the McLaren Vale township. Current custodian of the winemaking at Tatachilla is Jeremy Ottawa.
