Incorporated by Peter Yealands in 2008, Yealand Estate is one of the most sustainable wine producers of New Zealand. Considered unsuitable for growing grapes for many years, the rolling foothills of Awatere Valley was what made Peter Yealands think differently. After putting in a lot of hardwork, Peter transformed the land, stretching from the foothills of the Kaikoura Ranges to undulating downs overlooking the Cook Strait, into Seaview Vineyard. It is now New Zealand's single largest, privately-owned vineyard and produces quality grapes for Yealands wines.
