Wolf Blass Yellow Label Moscato

Wolf Blass Wines presents a thrilling array of great tasting wines in the Yellow Label series. These are bright, fruity and flavourful wines that can be served with any type of cuisine and are enjoyable at any occasion or event. Considered as the heart and soul of Wolf Blass Wines, the Yellow Label range features single varietals that perfectly represent the South Australian wine heritage.

The 2014 Wolf Blass Yellow Label Moscato is a varietal that is as popular and great tasting as the other 11 varietals of the Yellow Label range. It features clean, refreshing and light Moscato characters that are balanced by fresh citrus notes and supple musk resulting in a rich and flavourful finish. This lightly spritzed wine is best enjoyed chilled while still lively and fresh.

Wolf Blass Yellow Label Moscato vintage is made from carefully selected grapes from the vineyards of South Australia. Muscat grapes were pressed until dry and the extracted juices were fermented and aged in stainless steel vats to retain the fresh characters of Moscato. The year 2014 saw heavy rainfall in February but the phenomenon had minimal effect on the quality of the harvest. The cool night-time temperatures and abundant sunlight during daytime allowed ideal resting and ripening intervals for the grapes to preserve natural acidity and aromatics.

The pale straw colour with light hues of green characterizes the clean and natural characters of the wine. Refreshing citrus and alluring notes of musk make up the bouquet of this wine. Delectable and fresh citrus fruits constitute the body of this wine while balanced acidity and lovely floral notes cap the exciting palate to a crisp, bright and refreshing finish.

Yellow Label Moscato is 5.0 percent of alcohol in terms of volume, making it easy to drink on its own or with complementing dishes. Mango or passion fruit Pavlova and soft and creamy cheeses make great food pairings with this wine.
