It is manufactured using ripe and fresh Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes carefully selected from the lush vineyards of the Riverine Plains. Sacred Hill Cabernet Merlot is an exciting fusion of two red varietals. The wine is deep crimson - red in colour with bright purple hints along the edges. The attractive fragrance of blackberries and mint leaves flows from the bouquet, with underlying hints of milk chocolate and oak. The sumptuous palate overflows with juicy characters of red and dark fruits, complemented by fine tannins and a smooth and fleshy texture.
Although this wine has been made for immediate consumption, it can also be cellared for a period of two years. Dishes like beef stew, spiced roasted lamb and barbecued pork ribs are perfect for consumption with this great wine.
