The first Jacob’s Creek vineyard was established by Johann Gramp in 1847, along the banks of the famed Jacob’s Creek, with the objective to create great tasting wines that reflect the true character of the grapes grown in this lush and nutrient-rich region.
Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon features a dark purple colour. This exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits savoury aromas of cassis and mint from the attractive bouquet. The palate is rich and smooth, brimming with dark fruit flavours and subtle toasty notes which intermix with fine and soft tannins, to culminate in an intense and lingering finale. Pair this wonderful red wine with roasted rack of lamb served with chargrilled eggplant to fully appreciate its grand flavours. It can be cellared for 10 years from vintage to develop maximum fruit flavours and structure.
