WINERY INFORMATION
Amberley Estate was established in 1985 in Yallingup, Western Australia. The brand released its first vintage in 1990, and has subsequently produced award winning wines under the leadership of winemaker Lance Parkin. The combination of warm Western Australian Sun with cool ocean breezes results in grapes that are packed with lively fruit flavours. The philosophy of the company is that fine wines start in the vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
The premium parcels used to create Amberley Kiss & Tell Moscato were harvested in the cool of the night, immediately pressed, and kept in stainless steel tanks to retain maximum fresh fruit characteristics. Fermenting the juice quite cold also helped preserve delicate fruit flavours. The resulting sweet white wine showcases a light straw colour with green hues throughout. The perfumed bouquet exhibits lifted floral aromas of rose petals, coupled with fresh Muscat characters. These fragrances make way for a light palate containing flavours of honeysuckle and sweet pear. Elegantly balancing the residual sugar with a crisp finish, the delightful wine makes for a great apéritif. It can also be paired with a crudité platter or rich chocolate dessert for a memorable meal.
