Central Ranges wine zone is an Australian Geographical Indication located in the central west of New South Wales. The region lies to the west of Sydney, on the inland slopes of the Great Dividing Range, across the Blue Mountains.

The Central Ranges zone includes three formally recognised wine regions - Mudgee, Orange and Cowra, each named after their respective main towns. The region also comprises several wineries and vineyards around the town of Bathurst. Each wine region in Central Ranges experiences a different makeup of soil and climate, Cowra being the warmest. Where Mudgee enjoys being the oldest wine region in Australia, Orange wine region is known for producing some of the best Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties for Central Ranges wines.
