Tempus Two has two firmly planted roots – one in the oldest wine regions of Australia, Hunter Valley and the other in the McGuigan family, one of the most respected wine families of Australia. Set up in Pokolbin in the centre of Hunter Valley, the Tempus Two Cellar Door reflects the spirit of the winemaking team to create wines that fuse together traditional values with innovation. Initially launched as Hermitage Road in 1998, it was later renamed because the French appellation body took issue with the name. Tempus Two means ‘second time’ in Latin, which seemed a fitting name to the owners. The McGuigan family aims at creating diverse and elegant wines.
