Deep Woods Estate covers an area of about 32 hectares situated on a high ridge that overlooks the rich and fertile terrain of the Margaret River wine region. The thick cover of Marri and Jarrah trees that surround the valley floor around the property are the inspiration for the name of the winery.

Deep Woods Estate Chardonnay is a beloved white wine varietal that has a pale straw colour. Fragrant notes of white blossom and nectarine coupled with undertones of depth and minerality play a major part in adding complexity to the nose. The vibrant and delicious palate is filled with flavours of stone fruit and hints of cashew. Natural and refreshing grape acidity paves way for a lengthy and lingering finish.
The wine tastes good if consumed immediately after release, but would taste even better after 2 to 3 years of careful cellaring so that the rich Chardonnay characters get ample time to mature and develop.
