Wolf Blass himself was delighted to learn that the aboriginal word ‘Bilyara’ means Eaglehawk in English. One of the finest wines from this range, Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Shiraz Merlot Cabernet is a perfect combination of three outstanding red varietals sourced from South Eastern Australia. Made from 84% Shiraz, 10% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is matured with a combination of American and French oak over a span of four months.
The wine displays a medium to deep red colour with hues of crimson. The wine’s nose is filled with rich red and dark berries and subtle spice hints. Eaglehawk Shiraz Merlot Cabernet is a medium-bodied wine which features generous notes of fruits such as ripe dark berries and juicy plum.
