Lindeman’s Bin 35 Rose

The humble beginnings of the Lindeman’s Bin Series started with the release of 1985 Bin 65 Chardonnay vintage. The responses from the wine enthusiasts were incredibly great, leading the range of fruit-driven wines to get international limelight. Lindeman’s Bin Series has expanded to 17 more lovely blends and varietals that will surely satisfy your cravings. Each Bin flaunts its own unique set of characters, from the terrier to the innovative techniques employed, while highlighting the distinctive regional individuality of the region.

Lindeman’s Bin 35 Rose features delightful and bright red fruits on the nose, while summer fruit salads fill the flavourful palate of this wine. It is made from premium quality grapes sourced from the best vineyards of South Eastern Australia. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks to capture the innate fruit characters of the wine. Lindeman’s Bin 35 Rose is a perfect fusion of Grenache and Shiraz grape varietals. The wine features a lovely salmon pink colour with bright hues of fuchsia. The bouquet is filled with bright fruit aromas with striking hints of strawberry and raspberry. An explosion of red berries and summer fruits creates a delightful palate that finishes to a bright, refreshing and delicate finish.

The 2014 vintage saw favourable winter conditions commence to a warm, sunny and dry growing season. The vines produced buds earlier than usual but cool daily temperatures in the early growing season kept the formation of the fruits in pace. Warm conditions started in the middle of the season leading to an accelerated ripening stage for the grapes. Picking of fruits was delayed for two weeks because of moderate rains occurring in the middle of February. Despite the ups and downs in the growing season, the 2014 vintage is still among the best vintages of the Bin Series so far.

The wine is best enjoyed while the Grenache and Shiraz characters are at their peak freshness and youth. This wine is best served chilled as an aperitif, or as a perfect pairing for spicy Thai cuisine, Japanese seafood or fresh summer salads.
