For nearly five decades, Wolf Blass Wines has been continuously crafting premium quality wines with character and integrity; from its humble beginnings in a tin-shed winery to become one of the most successful and award-winning institutions not only in Australia but also in the whole world. Wolf Blass Wines, now recognised as a modern winemaking pioneer exports its exquisite array of wines to more than 50 countries.

The Eaglehawk brand was inspired by the name of the vineyard acquired by Wolf Blass for his winery. Wolf was surprised to know that the name ‘Bilyara’ actually came from the Australian aboriginal word for the bird Eaglehawk (also known as the wedge-tailed eagle). Like the Eaglehawk, Wolf Blass flaunts its elegance and success of crafting a diverse range of excellent wines that is certified people’s choice.

Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Semillon Chardonnay is an exciting fusion of two popular Australian varieties. Refreshing citrus and grassy characters of Semillon combined with the sweet peach and succulent melon flavours of Chardonnay create a unique mouth-watering alcoholic beverage.

Eaglehawk Semillon Chardonnay is crafted from select quality grapes from South Eastern Australia. This medium-bodied wine is made from 73% Semillon and 27% Chardonnay. The bouquet of this wine is filled with citrus aromas of lemon, lime and quince from Semillon and sweet peach, fig and rockmelon from Chardonnay. Its palate is dominated by smooth and well-balanced vibrant fruit flavours that cap to a crisp, clean and refreshing finish.

This wine is best enjoyed chilled, fresh from release.
