The Bard is Hollick's approachable entry point, a Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Chardonnay, all priced the same and all built for easy, everyday drinking rather than long term cellaring.
The Estate Range
The broader estate range covers more ground, from the Bond Road Chardonnay and Wrattonbully Shiraz through to a Sparkling Merlot, a Pinot Noir, the Tannery Block Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot in both a full bottle and a 12 pack of 375ml bottles, the Stock Route Limestone Coast Shiraz Cabernet, and The Nectar Botrytis Riesling for something sweeter to finish a meal.
Wilgha and Ravenswood: The Flagship Single Vineyard Wines
Wilgha Shiraz comes from one of Hollick's original vineyard blocks, planted in 1987 on the same shallow terra rossa over limestone that defines Coonawarra, with layered blackberry, mulberry and well judged oak. Ravenswood Cabernet Sauvignon draws on Hollick's premier blocks, including Wilgha itself, and carries a genuine 95 point score, deep fruit, structured tannin and a long, spice laced finish.
