WINERY INFORMATION

Joseph Osborn acquired the Bundarra property in McLaren Vale in 1912, laying down the foundation of d’Arenberg. The property was first planted with 8 acres of Shiraz vines. Third generation family member – d’Arry Osborn, joined the family business in 1943, at a tender age of 16. He launched his own wine label in 1959, in honour of his late mother – Helena. The company is presently managed by fourth generation winemaker – Chester Osborn.
