The attractive bouquet exhibits intense aromas of red compote berries and spicy oak, coupled with peppery undertones. The rich palate packs flavours of mocha and black pepper. The finish is lingering and tempting. With the potential to be cellared for 5 years from vintage, this full-bodied Shiraz has been crafted to be enjoyed fresh upon release. It compliments foods like lamb shanks, T-bone steaks and stews.

WINERY INFORMATION

Family owned, De Bortoli Wines was established in 1928 by Vittorio De Bortoli. Vittorio acquired a 55-acre fruit farm the same year and created his own wines by crushing 15 tonnes of Shiraz grapes sourced from other grape growers. These unique table wines were very popular among the local Italian and European workers. This exciting wine brand currently offers an award-winning range of cool climate wines, crafted under the supervision of skilled winemaker Jessica Irving.
