A major portion of the juice obtained was fermented in old French barriques, while the remaining portion was treated with yeast lees. The resulting wine shows a pale straw colour. The perfumed nose emanates delicate aromas of pear and lemon zest, with light suggestions of herbs following close behind. These fragrances make way for a light and clean palate, offering a firm texture to the wine. This delightful Pinot Gris can either be enjoyed fresh upon release or within a cellaring term of 2 to 3 years. Drink it with foods like grilled prawns, fish and chips, and roast pumpkin with goat cheese, to discover its real flavour potential.
