A wonderful growing season with abundant spring rainfall, low crops, and warm ripening conditions has resulted in that is deeply flavoured and intensely varietal. A traditional approach was used to produce this wine - fermentation on skins with twice daily pump-overs for three weeks followed by a 16-month maturation in 225-litre French oak barrels.
