Rutherglen Estates Sparkling Shiraz Durif is a beautiful blend of 30% Durif grapes with 70% Shiraz grapes. The resulting wine features a deep red colour, with a dark haze lurking throughout. This dazzling Sparkling Shiraz Durif offers fresh aromas and flavours of chocolate, pepper, spice and anise. Subtle tones of residual sweetness and soft tannins combine with these magnificent characters to end the wine in a mouth filling and lingering finish. Made for consumption upon release, this sparkling red blend can also be cellared for 5 years. It tastes wonderful with Christmas turkey, and pork, asparagus and potato omelette.

Rutherglen Estates offers a wide range of intensely flavoured and complex wines using premium grapes, sourced from their in-house vineyards planted in and around the Rutherglen wine region. The winemaking team combines the skills of their expert winemakers with state-of-the-art winemaking techniques to create these distinctive regional wines. Founded in 1996, the company changed ownership in 2013, when the new owners acquired it to make a strong foothold in the Chinese wine market.
