Yarra Valley is famous for the juicy and flavoursome Chardonnay grapes grown here. Harvested from the winery’s own estate blocks as well as the Upper Ngumby vineyard, the fruit was whole bunch pressed, coarse settled and fermented in French oak hogsheads and puncheons. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, the wine presents a pale gold colour, with light green hints lining the edges. The bouquet teems with melon, grapefruit, nutty and white nectarine fragrances that effortlessly move on to the intense palate structure full of juicy flavours reminiscent of almond meal, acacia honey, citrus and nectarine. Cuisines such as shellfish, creamy soups, pasta and grilled fish taste great with this white wine.
