Pretty Good

Bay of Fires Chardonnay displays a medium straw colour with bright green hues. This delightful white varietal exudes juicy aromas of white peach, lemon curd and preserved lemons from its fragrant bouquet, which combine with hints of toasty oak and flinty mineral characters in the backdrop. The smooth and juicy palate is rife with fresh flavours of stone fruits and grapefruits fusing with nuances of creamy toast. These flavours are balanced by a lemony mineral acidity, ending this cool climate wine in a refreshing and persistent finish. This wonderful Chardonnay tastes marvellous served with butternut squash, porcini mushroom risotto and goat cheese. Fine lemon flavours and aromas supported by flinty, mineral characters are enhanced by natural acidity.
