Larry Cherubino Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Frankland River - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock
The medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has been made with ripe fruit that was hand-harvested. The intensity of the fruit characters reflects in this bone dry wine’s inky black colour. Powerful bay leaf elements pack a punch in the bouquet and palate, while earthy Cabernet tones add to it. The rich and luxurious dark berry flavours are supported by underlying oak and gorgeous tannins, leading the medium bodied palate to a focused and smooth climax. This drink has a long cellaring potential of 20 years. It makes a great pair with rack of veal, or truffled goat cheese on a slice of grilled sourdough bread.

Acclaimed winemaker Larry Cherubino has won numerous trophies and medals for his outstanding work. Along with wife Edwina, Larry purchased a parcel of land in 2004 in the Frankland River wine region, to grow a vineyard that they named Riversdale. Their first wine was released the next year, in 2005.
