Pretty Good

: This dazzling Inception Shiraz from Sanguine Estate shows a dark red colour with bright purple shades. Scintillating aromas of plum and ripe blackberry fuse with subtle hints of spice and earth to offer a luxurious bouquet. Savoury undertones of tobacco and cigar box enhance the perfumed nose. These fragrances make way for an elegant palate containing fruit and spice flavours, supported by fine tannins. This excellent Shiraz ends in a long and structured finale. It has the potential to be cellared for a few years from vintage, drinking well with foods like roast lamb with apricots, meat pie and chocolate pavlova.

WINERY INFORMATION:

Trophy-winning wines by Sanguine Estate are crafted using natural winemaking and boutique techniques including small batch processing, hand plunging and so on. The family managed company was established by Linda and Tony Hunter in 1997 though this love for wine has its roots a century ago. Pietro D’orsa, Tony great-grandfather had arrived in Australia from Italy in the year 1868 and become a vigneron subsequently. Today, Tony and Linda children, Jody and Mark carry forward the family legacy along with their partners.
