Classic dark purple. Buttery short crust pastry with blueberries, black liquorice, dark chocolate and roses on the noses. Sweet cherries on the palate with hints of dark chocolate and liquorice. Soft silky tannin and well balanced with a long lingering finish. Well, marbled salt-crusted eye fillet with a rich red wine reduction jus. Slow roasted caramelised baby carrots and broccolini sauteed in butter.

WINERY INFORMATION

Since 2004, Don Lewis and Narelle King have been making wine in Priorat, Spain. Their immersion within the classic European wine regions and varietals sparked their interest in how these varietals could be grown and made in their own regions within Central Victoria.

TASTING NOTES
