Pretty Good

This wine is crafted from 100% Shiraz grapes drawn from the McLaren Vale region. Typical of Shiraz wines, the wine is dark red in colour with an opaque black core. This is the crème de la crème of Shiraz sourced from lush McLaren Vale vineyards. The surging aromas are extensive and detailed, with hints of mocha, mulberries, violets, spiced plums and blueberries. This is a full-bodied wine with charm and grace. Vivid azure-coloured fruits with a flowery surface give the palate some spirit. The mid-palate is filled with dense tannins, ending with late-emerging notes of mocha and spice cake. Some food pairings with this round, deep-flavoured Shiraz are five-spice lamb with spinach, grilled hickory-smoked hanger steak, honey-and-spice glazed chicken and Syrah-braised lamb shoulder.
