Pretty Good

This sparkler, a blend of two classic varieties, is a lasting value wine that highlights the characteristics of its component grapes - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. While Chardonnay adds texture and nutty brioche flavours of stone fruits and citrus zest, Pinot Noir provides a nose full of red fruits along with a fine, persistent bead. The nose is rich and toasty, while the elegantly structured palate is fine, crisp and creamy, finishing with innate acidity. Here are some tried and suggested food accompaniments for this splendid wine - bay scallops with garlic and parsley, shucked oysters, Camembert cheese, Tandoori kebabs, beer battered cod and onion rings, and smoked salmon.
