Astrolabe Farm Riesling 2019 Marlborough - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Appearing mild gold hued in a glass, Astrolabe Farm Riesling has a lively bouquet emanating fragrances of fresh apples, lime juice, lemon zest and citrus flower. The palate is zingy with flavours of freshly ripened lime, lemon and crisp apples. Having a long and clean finish, the wine rewards with complexity over a few years of cellaring. Perfect for summer lunches, this white tastes best when served chilled alongside lobster mornay, white fishes like flounder and sole, or Thai salads.
Owned by Jane and Simon Waghorn, Astrolabe Farm vineyard is situated in the lower Wairau Valley in Grovetown. Originally planted by the Inder family, this vineyard provided fruit for the brand’s first wine release in 1997. Featuring flat, moderately well drained loamy and sandy alluvial soils, this vineyard produces lemony Riesling sustainably under Astrolabe Farm Vineyard range. This range demonstrates winemaker Simon's innovative and challenging treatment of specific fruit parcels.
