WINERY INFORMATION
David Herd, recognised as the founding winemaker of the Marlborough region, planted his first grapevines in 1873 and established Auntsfield Estate. David continued to produce his own wines till his death in 1905. When Linda and Graeme Cowley acquired the estate, they realised that it was the very first vineyard planted in the region. The estate is presently looked after by their sons - Luc and Ben.
