Bass River Single Vineyard Pinot Gris 2017 Gippsland - 6 Bottles
Availability: Out of stock

The wine has a bright straw colour. Its aroma comes with intense scents of stone fruits, honeydew melon, honeysuckle and orange blossoms. Its palate reveals a soft pear-roundness. With its refreshing line of acidity, it comes out smooth and wholesomely polished, with a chalky inflexion of phenolics on the end-finish. Personal culinary differences oftentimes prevail, but the Pinot Gris and it's zesty and stimulating acidity pair really well with fresh vegetables, raw fish, light meals, fried goat`s cheese, or scallops. For the adventure, you may try this wine with Indian and Thai cuisine. A classic pairing, however, is smoked and spicy foods.
