This wine yielded outstanding quality Pinot Grigio grapes, which were used to craft this excellent white wine. The wine displays a pale straw hue, with light green highlights along the edges. Pear, apple and citrus fruit fragrances flow off the aromatic bouquet, while the crisp and well-structured palate contains juicy flavours of pear and lemon along with a zingy acidity, all of which together provide a remarkable length and freshness to the wine. It tastes wonderful both as an aperitif and with foods like tossed green salads.
Berton Vineyards is regarded by many as one of the premium wine estates in South Australia Eden Valley region. Adequately situated 500 meters above sea level, the Berton estate receives gracious amounts of sunlight, rainfall and cool breezes, allowing the fruit grown here to develop complex flavour and aroma profiles, which in turn helps in the production of elegant and intense wines.
