Aromas of ripe plum and cherry fruit exude off the bouquet, with slight hints of white pepper and aniseed. The medium-bodied palate is flavoured with notes of plum, cherry, red berry fruits and liquorice. Oak maturation adds a layer of richness, dark chocolate flavours and lifted oak notes to the fine and persistent tannin structure. Serve this delicious wine with lamb shanks, Spaghetti Bolognese, beef casserole, or hard cheeses.

The portfolio of Cumulus Wines comprises over 20 brands sourced from premier wine regions of Australia. Cumulus wines are meticulously hand-crafted from exceptional vintages. Grown on premium blocks in the vineyard located above 600 metres, these grapes are whole bunch pressed, natural yeast barrel fermented, and matured in a combination of French and American oak for 12 months.
