Pretty Good

The premium grapes used to craft The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon were crushed and transferred to open fermenters. Foot treading was carried out during fermentation. The juice obtained was then basket pressed and transferred to American oak barriques for fermentation. This led to the creation of a deep brick red hued wine accompanied by magenta shades. This enticing Cab Sauv flaunts an aromatic bouquet and a dense palate full of red capsicum, plum, cassis, cedar and violets. These characters integrate with fine and chalky tannins to offer a smooth mouthfeel and a persistent finish. This powerful Cabernet can either be consumed in its youth, or after a cellaring term of 5 to 8 years. It tastes excellent with beef casserole, roasted duck breast and vanilla cookies.
