WHY DO WE LIKE THIS WINE

Lime Kiln Point Pinot Noir shows a pale ruby red colour, exhibiting vibrant aromas of raspberries, cherries and red fruits from its perfumed bouquet. This tempting Pinot Noir is lush and intense on the palate, brimming with rich flavours of cherries and berry fruits which combine with an underlying layer of acidity and powdery tannins, to culminate in a luscious and refreshing finale. This cafe-style Pinot Noir tastes wonderful with food items like oven-baked salmon filets, roasted mushrooms with herbs, and Beef Bourguigon.

Derwent Estate is a family owned and operated wine estate, planted on the historic and lush Mt Nassau property in Granton, Tasmania. As an accomplished winemaker, John Schuts uses a combination of traditional and modern winemaking techniques to produce premium quality Derwent Estate wines. John joined the company in 2014 after working for a few reputed wineries in Western Australia.
