Devil’s Lair Fifth Leg Red is a blend of 15% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with 55% Shiraz fruit, sourced from vineyards in the Geographe and Margaret River regions. This delicious wine blend displays a dark red colour with a solid core. The attractive nose exhibits fresh and vibrant aromas of cherries, blueberries and raspberries, with spicy hints of French oak evident in the backdrop. Smooth and fine tannins fuse with red cherry and blueberry characters to end in a delicate and persistent finish exhibiting excellent length and oak balance. Crafted to relish upon release, this exquisite red blend tastes wonderful with pizza, hamburger, pepper steak and roast beef.
WINERY INFORMATION
Launched in 1996, Fifth Leg is a range of popular and unique wines produced at Devil’s Lair, a reputed winery in Margaret River. Fifth Leg was named after the fossilised remains of a Tasmanian tiger, found with a mysterious extra leg in a secret cave near the Devil’s Lair winery.
