: This wine is pale straw in colour with youthful green hues. It has a very clean peach and nectarine note to offer which comes forward with kaffir lime and fresh cucumber lift. The palate starts with a gentle and delicate melon flavour which grows and fills the mouth with nectarine, mandarin and lime flavours and a fine creamy texture. The finish is long and fruit juicy. Enjoy it best with roast chicken, light duck and quail dishes.

WINERY INFORMATION:

Geoff Merrill released the first label in 1983 with his name including a 1980 Cabernet and 1981 Semillon. With a view to establish his own operation, he purchased the beautiful but run-down Mount Hurtle Winery in 1985 and after restoring the property to its full potential, Geoff left to embark on his own venture in 1988. His signature style took his winemaking career to the international stage in 1993. Since then, Geoff continues to gain national and international recognition for his distinctive style of winemaking and zest for life.
