Pretty Good

: The grapes used to craft McPherson Laneway Shiraz were harvested from lush vineyards in the Goulburn Valley region. The juice obtained was fermented in static red fermenters, pumped and then pressed off skins. Post-maturation on French oak staves for 8 months, the resulting wine displays a deep red hue. The perfumed nose offers blackberry and spice aromas. These fragrances are replicated on the rich and medium-bodied palate, where they are joined by light suggestions of French oak. Elegant and supple tannins integrate with these interesting characters to end the wine in a seamless finale. This bold Shiraz can either be enjoyed in its youth or within a cellaring term of 2 to 8 years. It tastes amazing with rustic pasta, burgers and ribs.
