This single-vineyard Shiraz was matured in hogshead barrels for a period of 12 months. Bottled without filtration, it flaunts a medium to deep red colour. A swirl of the glass reveals lifted aromas of sweet berry fruit complemented by a touch of chocolate and sweet spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. These fragrances make way for an approachable palate revealing summer berries and subtle musk & liquorice. Laced by creamy oak that provides the drink a rich mouthfeel, it eventually culminates in a silky soft tannin finish marked by good length of berry fruit. Enjoy this vibrant and fresh wine young with grilled duck, lamb, and barbecued spareribs.
Located in the world-renowned Barossa Valley, Paisley is a family-owned and -operated boutique winery. It was established by a couple, Derek Fitzgerald and Kirsten Harvey, in the year 2017 with the release of 2016 vintage wines.
